Network printers are commonly used at work places, libraries, schools, houses with large families and homes in general. There are some problems that may happen then seem to be seen time and time again and these include the set up process and being able to enter the network for the computer, communication errors, jams, streaks, blank prints, and more.
Network and My Computer
When you have a network that has more than one computer, it can mean that you have to change some of the default setting s for the computer you first set up the printer with. This is because that computer may feel that it is the primary computer and that could mean that it would be the only one able to print from the computer and that it would not allow other computers to be able to do so as well.
Communication Error
If you have a communication error come up on your computer it can be a moment when you suddenly are very annoyed. First, you have to get it working and are able to then eventually you have a communication error and think you may have to do it all over again. You may not have to do that again as long as you simply do a power cycle, then disconnect, and reconnect to the network.
Jams
You know that the problem that you have is a printer paper jam if you het the error announcing it, you put paper in and it does not come out the other side or if when you go to print it simply eats you paper. The way that you normally have to fix this is by carefully taking the paper out of the area that it is jammed inside of. This can mean opening the printer, but many times this is not needed because of easy access slots that are put in place for if there is ever a jam.
Streak and Blank Prints
When you have a streak that shows up and it is either lighter then the effect you where looking for or darker then you may have a problem with the way something is edited no your computer or you may have ink on the rollers. There is also a possibility that this could mean that you are running low on ink so you may also want to do an ink test to be able to make sure that this is not the case. When you end up with a blank print that normally does mean that you are out of ink or that the ink that you have inside of the printer dried or is having another issue such as clogging.
